With a focus on big riffs and gripping melodies, DEADLOCKED play grandiose and
riveting heavy metal. The quintet expresses a wide variety of emotions through
their modern way of composing heavy metal, with roots in traditional metal and
instrumentation. With a common passion for heavy music, the band was originally
formed through Grobund Bandakademi in Aarhus in 2019 and has since moved to
Aalborg. In 2021 they released their debut EP "Tales from the Mountain", a
theatrical story about the many struggles and questions one may have about
their existence. More material has since been written and is being released as
singles and played live on Danish stages. At their live concerts you can feel
their passion for playing through their connection with the audience, and high
energy on stage. The audience is included in a musical universe with a big
sound, big compositions and big emotions.

Med fokus paa store riffs og medrivende melodier spiller DEADLOCKED storladen
og faengende heavy metal. Kvintetten udtrykker en bred vifte af foelelser gennem
deres moderne maade at komponere heavy metal paa, med roedder i traditionel
metal og instrumentering. Med en faelles passion for tung musik fandt bandet
oprindeligt sammen gennem Grobund Bandakademi i Aarhus i 2019 og er siden
rykket til Aalborg. I 2021 udgav bandet deres debut-EP "Tales from the
Mountain", der er en teatralsk fortaelling om de mange forskellige kampe og
spoergsmaal, man kan have omkring tilvaerelsen. Siden da er der skrevet endnu
mere materiale, som udgives som singler og spilles paa de danske scener. Til
deres livekoncerter kan man maerke spillegaeden i bandet gennem deres kontakt
til publikum og hoeje energi paa scenen. Publikum engageres ind i et musikalsk
univers med stor lyd, store kompositioner og store foelelser.
